Touch for Health Kinesiology

WHAT IS TOUCH FOR HEALTH (TFH)?

Touch for Health is a system of healing that use manual muscle bio-feedback to determine which stimuli stress the body and how that stress can be decreased.

The TFH model does not treat or diagnose symptoms, but works with the energy, lifestyle and aspirations of the client, offering a safe and effective way to maintain health, enhance well-being and upgrade performance by working with the meridian system of the body through touch.

TFH is the most widely used system of kinesiology in the world. It is recognised and respected as a fundamental training for other kinesiology systems as well as a healing modality in it’s own right.

TFH Kinesiology is a system of natural health care which combines muscle monitoring with the principles of Chinese medicine to assess energy and body function, applying a range of gentle, yet powerful healing techniques to improve health, wellbeing and vitality.

Cynthia Teo practices the modality and teaches classes in them as well. She is a Certified Touch for Health instructor with International Kinesiology College. (IKC)

Here’s what some have to say about the TFH experiences and classes:-

‘At age 62 I truly feel so much alive within me. In the past I always felt something empty within me, and I could not put my finger to it. I always looked back and lived with lots of fear and guilt from childhood to adulthood. I always have great pain from waist below and walking was always in pain.

After the Beaver Wheel Balance I felt a great dam being opened so wide that the waters gushed out releasing me free from flight or fight stress in my body. The energy in me is a new experience. Freedom, fun and learning became a new beginning in my life. A powerful tool to be shared and practiced to all who want to experience like myself. Thank you Cynthia for meeting you and making this happen,God bless you always. ‘ – Susan B Williams (Participant in TFH I & TFH 2 , 2012)

‘I first learnt about TFH when I brought my son to BrainGym Playhouse. He was 3months old and needed help. I found the concept interesting and was excited when I learnt that Cynthia was teaching TFH. The purpose of learning TFH was to help my son but as a result, I have helped myself and my husband too and am slowly reaching out to other family members and friends. TFH has been extremely helpful in helping me manage my many symptoms to stress (sore shoulders, headaches and migraines, etc). After each balance, I find myself extremely slowed down, and that is exactly what I always need! On a daily basis, I run meridians for myself and my family before we go to bed at night for a more peaceful sleep! The ESR is another tool I use A LOT, especially at work. Whenever my hubby and I feel unwell but are pressed for time, we find just doing ESRs and run meridians a quick fix to help us go on and about our busy schedules. I am very grateful to have learnt this wonderful thing called TFH!’

“At 40 years old, I feel privileged & gifted to have an opportunity to learn about Touch for Health, a Kinesiology method that enhances self healing energy in a person & empowers a person’s potential. As I embark my journey in acquiring more knowledge in this field, I realize how easily Touch for Health techniques can be applicable in day to day practical way of living especially in the current era. Simple pain relief techniques (spindle cell mechanism – relieves me from my leg cramps), ESR ( relieves me of my stress caused my anxieties, expectations, performance standards, etc), food strengthening (helps me to eat the right food at the right time to avoid my energy imbalance biochemically). As the field of Kinesiology is new to me, there were a number of time I found it difficult to believe how doing simple balances by massaging the neurolympathics & neurovascular points could relief one of pain, stress and bring balance to their mind and body.

My husband & 2 sons have also gained from Touch for Health technique as I was able to help them feel stress free or free them from physical pain/tension that they experience caused by stress, work overload, rush, sickness…etc. As days go by I gained more knowledge & proper use of Touch of Health technique to enhance self healing power & bring about energy balance to one’s mind/body/ potential in order for us to lead a more balanced lifestyle.” – Samira (participant of TFH 1/2011 & TFH 2/2012)

‘I have attended TFH level 1 training recently with Cynthia in Jogjakarta and was delighted. I am already an EFT practitioner so working with some meridian points and the energy around is not new to me. But I can clearly see the benefits of a new approach to healing. I am amazed of how the muscles react instantly and how it cannot lie. I also have appreciated the professionalism, the clarity and the gentleness of Cynthia which has made this workshop a very enjoyable experience. And last thing, the book that have got with the training is such a valuable working/ training/learning tool. It shows the extent of the research and of the time spent by the founders of TFH. Cynthia, be sure to see me in the next TFT workshop.” – Myriam Dumontil, participant, Yogyakarta Dec 2012

“I have done a TFH healing session with Cynthia and was impressed by the very quick result obtained. In minutes, i found the emotionnal cause to my behaviour, although it was a very unexpected cause that I would not find by myself. I am highly recommending Cynthia for TFH healing sessions! ” – Myriam Dumontil, Yogyakarta Dec 2012
